Every print at Amatus has been designed with intention, using colour psychology as inspiration behind the designs. By harnessing the power of colour and utilising findings from scientific studies and experts in colour psychology, all Amatus designs are created with these findings in mind.You can find details of the colour psychology behind all the colours used on each print design in the description box next to each artwork.In addition to considering colours, we design simple prints that are intentionally uncomplicated, with shapes that aim to be easy on the eyes and easy on the mind too.

Amatus owner and designer, Siobhan is obsessed with colour! After completing a degree in Fine Art and a MSc in Environmental Psychology, Siobhan spent a decade supporting small businesses in product design. This experience inspired Siobhan to create Amatus and use her knowledge to create beautiful art prints to brighten up as many spaces as possible.A passion for making people feel better inspired Siobhan to make art that can have a positive effect on the viewer. Colour is powerful and it can completely change the feeling of a room, your mood, your focus and your happiness.
